THE REASON VIM MEN'S MINISTRY EXISTS

Looking at all the challenges men are facing in the world today can be mind-boggling. Just to keep going from day to day can be a struggle for many men. No matter what his status in life, he finds himself alone or with very few other men who understand what he is going through. His masculinity is even being questioned by different groups of people. He is often told that he is wrong in the way he presents himself, all of this having an unhealthy effect on family life, not just in the world, but also in the family of God.

As we take a look at the Vision International Ministries Man and his need to glorify God, we want to encourage men to become disciples of Jesus Christ. Paul writes in 2 Timothy 2:2: "And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also." As we put these inspired words of God into practice daily, we will not only become Chris-like in our personal lives, we will become better servants in our local churches, and a more consistent testimony in our community.

By mentoring relationships we will have a more effective discipleship ministry.
Through these relationships and accountability to one another, we will become more effective in our immediate area. We will also be able to strengthen men's ministries in other area VIM churches by sharing our resources and given Christian men opportunities to practice Biblical truths.

Through providing resources and sponsoring events that foster fellowship with men in the local church and area churches, we will help to equip and strengthen men to be Christ-like at home, at church, and in the community. Let us be men of INTEGRITY. Let us as Vision International Ministries' Men meet the challenge of preparing men for tomorrow, by mentoring men today, as our Lord and Savior tarries. MAY GOD RICHLY BLESS OUR EFFORTS!
